LHE collaborates with the YMCA & National Arts Council in offering Arts Education Programmes (AEP) to Singapore schools. Since 1999 this programme has reached over 250,000 students from more than 200 schools. LHE has also conducted dance workshops for the hearing-impaired, youths with disabilities and Toa Payoh Girls' Home, a reform centre for young offenders.

LHE offers lindy hop classes for the public at the YMCA, where we have instructed over 1000 dancers in the past seven years. LHE also hosts monthly dances at the Singapore Art Museum. In addition, LHE produces Blackspeak, a journal for informed discussion of jazz dance and other issues related to jazz music, expressions and history.
